Khyrunnisa A., a prize-winning author of children’s fiction, created the popular comic character Butterfingers for the children’s magazine, Tinkle. Her Butterfingers stories are a regular feature of that magazine. Her first children’s novel, Howzzat Butterfingers!, was published by Puffin in 2010. Her stories appear regularly in Tinkle, Dimdima and other children’s magazines and she freelances for other publications too. Abook of short stories, Lost in Ooty and Other Adventure Stories, was published by Unisun Publications in 2010. Some of her other stories have been published in various anthologies by Puffin, Children’s Book Trust and Unisun Publications.
